CVT

Allie started working at Country Hills Pet Hospital in January of 2009 as an assistant while attending Madison Area Technical College to become a certified veterinary technician. After graduation in spring of 2010 she became a full time technician. When she’s not at work, Allie enjoys spending meaningful time with her husband, Simon, and their daughter, Lainey, making the most of both everyday routines and family outings. Their home is also shared with three cats—Alonzo, Nola, and Tuzi; two French Bulldogs, Stella and Drax; and a shepherd/husky/collie mix named Cash, who keep life lively. In her free time, Allie likes staying active with hiking, UTV rides, and volleyball, and she enjoys gathering with family and friends whenever she can.

In 2025, Allie was honored as a finalist for the American Animal Hospital Association’s Veterinary Technician of the Year award. This national recognition celebrates experienced, credentialed technicians who demonstrate exceptional dedication to patient care, teamwork, and leadership. As part of the announcement, Allie shared insights into how veterinary practices can better support their tech teams and what she wishes more people understood about her profession.
