Tawny started working at Country Hills in October 2025. She got her interest in veterinary medicine working as an intern at a wildlife rehabilitation center in northern Wisconsin after obtaining a bachelor’s degree in wildlife management. She has experience in general practice, shelter, and emergency medicine and graduated from St. Petersburg College with a degree in Veterinary Technology in 2021. She lives with her partner, Chris, their two dogs Rhythm and Fig, and their cat Leche. In her free time, she enjoys shooting archery, going for hikes, camping, kayaking, trying new foods / restaurants, reading, and plant pressing.
